Jenison finished 3rd at the Division I state meet on Saturday, the second highest finish in program history. Jenison Girls Swim and Dive was bumped up from Division II to Division I this year based on enrollment and competed great against new competition. Grace Albrecht etched her name in the MHSAA record books as one of the only swimmers in state history to win the same event four years in a row (50 Freestyle). Sophia Umstead won two events in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke, setting two new varsity records. The 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays set new Division I records as well. Overall, there were 7 All-American times/scores, 5 Varsity records and 2 new Division 1 records. Congratulations Wildcats!
