The Jenison boys and girls track/field teams each finished in first place at the Ionia Invite on Friday out of seven teams.

SOFTBALL
The Jenison softball team defeated South Christian by scores of 10-2 and 11-0 on Friday in a non-league doubleheader. The Wildcats improve to 7-1 on the season.
Kenadee Schnick, Mia VanderHeide, and Morgan Macek each had two hits to pace the offense in game one, while Korrie Schuurman drove in three runs.
Alli Wright earned the win, throwing five inning while allowing just one run and striking out four.
In game two, Macek finished 3-for-3 with a double and a triple. VanderHeide and Wright each drove in a pair of runs.
Wright earned the victory in game two as well, tossing 4.1 innings and striking out five.
