The Jenison baseball team completed a three-game sweep of West Ottawa on Wednesday with a 5-2 come-from-behind victory. The Wildcats improve to 18-13 overall and finish OK Red play with a 12-9 record.
West Ottawa led 2-0 entering the sixth inning before Jenison tied the game on a two-run single by Jackson Sytsma. In the top of the seventh inning, the Wildcats scored three runs, highlighted by Corbin Bennetts' two-run single, to take their first lead of the game.
Spencer Betts pitched five innings and allowed just one earned run, while Bennetts threw two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.
Joey Heyboer and Landon Mueller each had two hits.
The Wildcats will travel to Forest Hills Northern on Friday to begin play at the Gerken Tournament.
