The Jenison baseball team defeated Zeeland East, 11-7, on Tuesday in the regular season finale. The Wildcats improve their record to 21-13 on the season.
The two teams were tied at 2-2 entering the fifth inning before Jenison scored two runs in the fifth and five runs in the sixth to break open the game.
Madison Wood earned the win on the mound by tossing two scoreless innings. Jackson Systma and Josh Huene also each threw scoreless innings for the Wildcats.
Offensively, Corbin Bennetts led the team with three hits including a double and a triple, while Bear Casarez finished 1-for-1 with two runs and a walk.
