The Jenison boys and girls bowling teams earned wins over Rockford on Wednesday. The boys won, 22-8, while the girls defeated the Rams, 20-10.
Ben Slagter shot a team-high 246 for the boys in game two after facing a 79-pin deficit after the first game. Noah Miller (230) and Seth Parrow (220) also scored well in game two to cap the comeback.
On the girls side, Grace Smith rolled games of 191 and 167, while Kiarah Kroon (162) and Venessa Boonstra (155) each finished with games over 150.
The teams will compete in the OK Red Mid Season Tournament on Saturday (Jan. 22).
