The Jenison boys basketball team lost to Hudsonville on Tuesday night, 65-39, at Kamstra Gymnasium. The Wildcats drop to 5-14 overall.
The two teams traded baskets for much of the first quarter before Hudsonville went on a scoring run at the end of the quarter. The Eagles led 17-10 after the first quarter and grew their lead to 33-14 at the half. Jenison could not lessen the deficit in the second half as Hudsonville pulled away in the third quarter.
Gage Chatfield led Jenison with nine points.
The Wildcats will travel to Grand Haven on Friday for the season finale.
