The Jenison boys basketball team dropped a 53-48 contest on Tuesday evening at Caledonia. The Wildcats fall to 5-10 overall and 1-8 in league play.
Jenison led after the first quarter, 16-15, but the offense went cold in the second quarter. Caledonia led 32-21 at the halftime break. The Wildcats climbed back into the game in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 42-37, and made things close down the stretch in the fourth, but could not complete the comeback.
Caleb Dean led Jenison with 12 points, while Gage Chatfield added 10 points.
The Wildcats will host West Ottawa on Friday night in the annual Pink Out game.
