The Jenison boys basketball squad dropped an OK Red contest at Rockford by a score of 61-36 on Friday night. The Wildcats fall to 4-7 overall and 0-5 in league play, while Rockford improves to 9-1 overall and 5-0 in conference action.
Jenison led 11-9 after the first quarter, but Rockford would take control of the game in the second quarter and lead 29-22 at the half. The Rams outscored Jenison 16-4 in the third quarter to widen the margin and put the game out of reach.
Carter VanManen led the Wildcats with 11 points.
Jenison will travel to Hudsonville on Tuesday night (Jan. 25)
