The Jenison boys basketball team fell to West Ottawa, 52-35, on Friday night in Holland. The Wildcats drop to 4-5 overall and 0-3 in OK Red play.
West Ottawa jumped out to an early 13-4 advantage and built a 27-16 lead at the halftime break. The Panthers continued to widen the margin in the second half and secured the double-digit win.
Caleb Dean led Jenison with 13 points, while Carter VanManen and Landon Mueller eached chipped in with five points.
Jenison will travel to East Kentwood to take on the Falcons next Tuesday (Jan. 18).
