The Jenison boys basketball team fell to Grand Haven, 61-37, on Friday night in an OK Red matchup at Kamstra Gymnasium. The Wildcats drop to 4-9 overall and 0-7 in conference play.
The Wildcats jumped out to an early 11-10 lead after the first quarter of play before Grand Haven outscored Jenison by six in the second quarter to take a 26-21 lead into the halftime break. The Bucs broke the game open in the second half by building a 45-27 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Caleb Dean led Jenison with 10 points, while Gage Chatfield added nine points.
The Wildcats will travel to Grandville next Friday night.
