Jenison Boys Basketball falls to West Ottawa in Pink Out Game

The Jenison boys basketball team fell, 36-27, against West Ottawa on Friday night in the annual Pink Out game. The Wildcats drop to 5-11 overall and 1-9 in league play.


A low scoring affair for the entire game, West Ottawa led 6-4 after the first quarter and 13-6 at the halftime break. Jenison was down 29-13 early in the fourth quarter before trimming the deficit to five points at 30-25. The Panthers would knock down free throws late to put the game out of reach.


Carter VanManen led Jenison with eight points.


The Wildcats will host East Kentwood on Tuesday night (Feb. 15).
