The Jenison boys basketball team fell on a buzzer beater to East Kentwood, 54-53, on Tuesday night in OK Red action. The Wildcats drop to 4-6 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Caleb Dean knocked down a pair of free throws with six seconds remaining to give Jenison a 53-52 lead before East Kentwood drove the length of the floor and made their second shot attempt at the buzzer.
Jenison trailed 13-12 after the first quarter, but took a 24-21 lead into the halftime break. The game remained close for the duration of the second half with multiple lead changes.
Dean led the Wildcats with 25 points.
Jenison will travel to Rockford on Friday night.
