Jenison Boys Bowling defeats Wayland to open season

The Jenison boys bowling team defeated Wayland by a score of 24-6 on Monday in the season opener. The girls dropped a 27-3 decision.

BOYS

Ethan Dirkse rolled a team-high 266 in game two, while Seth Parrow finished with a 231. Jay Sarber put together two impressive games with scores of 213 and 215. Codey Miller (211) and Devon Geerlings (208) also added 200+ point games.

GIRLS

Grace Smith paced the girls with a high score of 237, while Teresa Sanchez rolled a 197.

Both teams will be back in action on Thursday at home against Zeeland East
