The Jenison boys lacrosse team earned a conference victory over East Kentwood, 10-6, on Tuesday at home. The Wildcats improve to 1-2 in conference play.
East Kentwood led 4-3 after the first quarter, but Jenison overtook the lead at the half, 6-5. The Wildcats increased the margin in the second half en route to the win.
Ethan Mate had a team-high three goals, while Aiden Jenison and Rylan Kelly each scored two goals. Liam Zolman, Tyler Zweedyk, and Andrew Kimball finished with one goal each.
Trevor Martens, Zolman, and Zweedyk each dished out one assist. Zolman won 14 out of 19 face-offs on the evening.
Jenison will host Holland Christian tonight.
