The Jenison boys lacrosse team dropped an 8-6 decision against Mona Shores on Wednesday night. The Wildcats fall to 1-7 overall.
Jenison led 2-1 after the first period and were tied 3-3 at the half. The Wildcats scored three straight goals to take a 6-3 lead in the final frame, but five unanswered goals by the Sailors sealed a comeback victory.
Ethan Mate and Aiden Jenison each scored two goals, while Tyler Zweedyk and Trevor Martens each scored one goal.
