The Jenison boys soccer team defeated Covenant Christian, 3-0, on Friday night in a non-league matchup. The Wildcats improve to 2-2 on the season.
Gage Vanderwaal, Sam Botsko, and Lance Ballinger each scored goals for Jenison, while Xander Austin and Owen Snyder each tallied an assist.
Kyler Watrous was credited with the shutout victory and recorded five saves.
Jenison will begin OK Red play on Monday at home against West Ottawa.
