Jenison Cross Country posts solid finishes on Saturday

The Jenison Cross Country teams competed in a pair of events on Saturday. The boys took second place (10 teams) at the Lakeview Invite, while the girls finished in third place (19 teams) at the West Ottawa Bredeweg Invite.

Boys Top Finishers:

6th: Seth Conner (16:31)

7th: Mason Lucas (16:42)

17th: Brendan Wangler (17:06)

24th: Andrew Wangler (17:30)

27th Will Marth (17:35)

- Cole Visser (17:47) and Matthew Schwartz (17:55).

Girls Top Finishers:

9th: Maya Guikema (19:18)

19th: Madelyn VandeBunte (20:06)

21st: Maggie Otto (20:13)

39th: Andrea Schwartz (21:10)

The boys will have 2 teams competing Friday, Sept 16. One varsity team will compete at Michigan State and another varsity Team will compete at the Sparta Invitational. The girls will be back in action next Friday as well at the Ottawa Hills Invite.
