The Jenison girls basketball team took down Caledonia, 55-45, on Tuesday night at Kamstra Gymnasium. The Wildcats improve to 7-8 overall and 4-5 in OK Red play.
Jenison jumped out to an early 16-6 lead after the first quarter of play and added to the lead in the second quarter to go up 35-19 at the half. Caledonia would trim the deficit to single digits in the second half, but the Wildcats held off the comeback.
Ella Haik led Jenison with 19 points, while Terin Maynard added 18 points. Christine Duch also finished in double figures with 10 points.
The Wildcats will host West Ottawa on Friday night in the annual Pink Out game.
