The Jenison girls basketball team fell by a score of 38-28 on Friday night against Grand Haven in a league matchup. The Wildcats drop to 5-8 overall and 2-5 in conference play.
Jenison led 7-6 after the first quarter of play, but Grand Haven took a 16-10 lead into the half. The Bucs held the lead into the second half and kept the Jenison offense at bay.
Taryn Maynard led Jenison with nine points, while Ella Haik scored eight points.
Jenison will travel to Grandville next Friday night.
