The Jenison girls basketball team fell, 70-34, at Rockford on Friday night in an OK-Red matchup. The Wildcats fall to 5-6 overall and 2-3 in league play, while the Rams move to 9-1 overall and 4-1 in conference action.
Rockford led 20-8 after the first quarter and 30-19 at the half. The Rams used a 24-point third quarter to expand the margin and cruise to the win.
Ella Haik led Jenison with 14 points, while Terin Maynard also scored in double-figures with 10 points.
Jenison will host the defending Class A State-Champions, Hudsonville, on Tuesday night (Jan. 25).
