The Jenison girls basketball team dropped a non-league contest to Lowell, 62-52, on Tuesday night at Kamstra Gymnasium. The Wildcats fall to 2-3 on the season.
The Red Arrows led 12-9 after the first quarter and increased their lead before halftime to 30-19. Jenison trailed by 10 points entering the fourth quarter and cut the deficit to six points, but could not get any closer.
Terin Maynard scored a team-high 20 points, while Sam Timmer scored 11 points and Christine Duch finished with nine points.
Jenison will travel to Zeeland West after the new year on Jan. 4.
