Jenison Girls Basketball falls to Reeths-Puffer

The Jenison girls basketball team fell to Reeths-Puffer, 55-40, in a non-league contest at home on Tuesday night. The Wildcats drop to 3-4 overall on the season.


Reeths-Puffer jumped out to a 16-8 lead after the first quarter before Jenison cut the deficit to 29-24 at the half. The Rockets grew the lead in the second half and led by double-digits for a majority of the fourth quarter.


Terin Maynard scored a team-high 17 points, while Rudy Maynard added 10 points.


Jenison will begin OK Red play on Friday night at home against East Kentwood.
