The Jenison girls cross country team finished 3rd out of 18 teams on Friday at the Portage Central Invite to begin the 2021 season.

Maya Guikema (19:34.4) led Jenison with a 7th place finish, while Lily Strelecki (20:03.8) and Maggie Otto (20:53.0) placed 11th and 22nd respectively.
The Wildcats will be back in action on Aug. 28 at the Benzie Central Invite.
