The Jenison girls soccer team took down Grandville, 3-2, on Tuesday night in OK Red play. The Wildcats improve to 2-4-1 overall on the season.
After a scoreless first half, Jenison came out strong and scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half to take a 2-0 lead. Allison Westerbeek and Natalie Keena netted the goals to give Jenison the advantage.
Grandville cut the deficit to 2-1 before Jenison answered with a goal from Ella Chatfield. The Bulldogs scored again with 20 minutes left to go, but the Wildcats held on for the 3-2 victory.
Jenison will host West Ottawa on Thursday.
