Jenison Girls Track and Field Sends Four Athletes to New Balance Nationals

The Jenison Girls Track and Field program had four athletes recently qualify for the New Balance Indoor Nationals at The Armory Track in New York City, New York on March 11-13. Lily Strelecki (12th), Maggie Otto (11th), Madelyn VandeBunte (10th), and Maya Guikema (11th) successfully completed the 4x800 meter relay race at the Aquinas Invite under the 10:00 minute qualifying time. The four girls compete for West Michigan Harriers in the offseason, but to race in the relay at nationals, all four must attend the same high school.
