The No. 3 ranked Jenison girls water polo team defeated No. 4 ranked East Kentwood by a score of 9-5 on Thursday night. The Wildcats improve to 9-3 overall on the season.
Hailey Sherman had a team-high four goals, while Rachel Huyser totaled three assists.
On the defensive end, Jenison racked up 23 steals including eight from Caroline Norton and five by Elyse Radawski. In the net, Allie VanDenBosh saved 10 of the 15 shot attempts.
Jenison will compete in the East Kentwood Invite over the weekend.
