The Jenison girls water polo team defeated Grand Haven, 13-4 in the opening round of districts. The Wildcats will take on Grandville tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM.
Rachel Huyser scored a team-high four goals, while Hailey Sherman (three goals), Lily Bydalek (two goals), and Makayla Muir (two goal) each had multi-goal games. Caroline Norton and Elyse Radawski each scored one goal.
