The Jenison hockey team shutout East Kentwood, 8-0, on Wednesday afternoon. The Wildcats improve to 12-10-1 overall and already clinched the OK Fischer division crown.
Robert Johnson IV (Hayden Blik, Luke Rozema assist) and Nathaniel Kloppe (Gavin Phillips assist) each netted goals in the first period to give Jenison a 2-0 lead. The Wildcats added five goals in the second period and one early in the third period to mercy the Falcons.
Jenison will host Northview on Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM for Senior Day.
