The Jenison hockey team defeated Kenowa Hills, 3-2, on Wednesday night at Walker Ice Arena. The Wildcats improve to 4-3 overall on the season
Sam Bydalek and Hayden Blik scored first period goals to give Jenison a 2-0 lead at the first intermission. The Wildcats withstood three straight power plays before Brayden Eddy found the back of the net to give Jenison a 3-0 lead in the second period. Kenowa Hills scored two goals in the third period, but the Wildcats defense held strong to preserve the victory.
Jenison will travel to Reeths-Puffer on Friday night.
