The Jenison hockey team opened the 2021-22 campaign with a 10-3 win over Lowell/Caledonia on Friday night at East Kentwood.
Hayden Blik scored a team-high four goals and added an assist, while RJ Rathsack scored two goals and Sam Bydalek scored a goal and dished out three assists.
The Wildcats opened the scoring on a Rathsack goal from Braden Eddy early in the first period and took a 4-1 lead into the second period.
Jenison continued to add onto the lead in the second as they scored three more goals in the frame.
The Wildcats next game is scheduled for Dec. 3 at Grand Haven.
