Jenison Hockey falls to Cap City

The Jenison hockey team fell in a shootout against Cap City at Georgetown Ice Arena on Friday night in front of a large crowd. The Wildcats drop to 3-2 on the season.


Cap City led 3-0 after the first period, but Jenison answered back in the second period, scoring three goals to tie the game at 3-3. Neither team would score in the third period or overtime which resulted in a shootout. Cap City would win the game on the sixth round of penalty shots.


Jenison will play in the consolation game of the tournament against Hudsonville tomorrow at 3:00 PM.
