Jenison Hockey falls to Forest Hills Central on Saturday

The Jenison hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision at Forest Hills Central on Saturday evening. The Wildcats fall to 6-6 overall on the season.


After a scoreless first period, FHC scored a shorthanded goal with nine minutes left in the second period. Jenison would answer before the second period buzzer sounded on a goal from Luke Rozema (RJ Rathsack assist).


The Rangers would score the eventual game-winner in the third period on another short-handed goal.


Jenison will head up north next weekend to compete in the Traverse City Invite.
