The Jenison softball team continued their winning ways in a 6-1 win over East Kentwood on Thursday. The Wildcats improve to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in OK Red play.
Freshman Alli Wright and Korrie Schuurman combined for seven innings in the circle, allowing just four hits and striking out nine.
Jenison opened up the scoring in the third inning on a two-out single by Morgan Huyser scoring Taryn Maynard and Christine Duch. Wright and Duch led the offense with two hits each.
The Wildcats will host Unity Christian on Monday.
