The Jenison softball team defeated state-ranked Wayland on Friday, 4-1. The Wildcats improve to 3-0 on the season.
Brynn Timmer, Korrie Schuurman, and Allie Wright combined to give up just four hits in the circle.
Elsie Norton and Christine Duch each had two hits to lead the Jenison offense, while Duch launched her second home run of the season.
The Wildcats will travel to Hudsonville on Tuesday.
