The Jenison softball team mercied Grandville, 15-1, on Monday in an OK Red contest. The Wildcats improve to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in league play.
After two scoreless innings, Jenison scored two runs in the third, four runs in the fifth, and nine runs in the sixth inning. Freshman Alli Wright earned the win, throwing six innings, while scattering three hits, one run, three walks, and punching out 12 Bulldogs' hitters.
Terin Maynard led the offense with five hits, while Liv Bisonet recorded three hits including a home run. Christine Duch and Wright each tallied multi-hit games.
Jenison will travel to Grand Haven tomorrow for a conference doubleheader.
