The No. 6 ranked Jenison softball team swept Zeeland West by scores of 13-2 and 6-5 on Friday. The Wildcats improve to 24-2 overall.
In game one, Korrie Schuurman and Alli Wright combined to pitch six innings while striking out eight batters.
Marah Griffore and Liv Bisonet each launched home runs, while Kenadee Schnick, Griffore, and Mia VanderHeide each had three hits.
In game two, Zeeland West jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but Jenison scored one run in the second, two runs in the third, and three runs in the fifth to take a 6-5 lead.
Brynn Timmer earned the win in the circle by throwing five scoreless innings in relief with seven strikeouts.
Bisonet and Christine Duch each clubbed home runs to pace the offense.
