The Jenison wrestling team fell at Grand Haven, 36-31, in front of the Grand Haven student body at their Assembly Meet on Friday afternoon.
Braylon Norman (103 lbs), Tomas Mendez (112 lbs), Jacob Gregg (130 lbs), Max Alkema (152 lbs), Aidan Herberly (189 lbs), Chris VanOpstall (215 lbs), and Ian Barynas (285 lbs) each earned victories for the Wildcats. VanOpstall defeated a defending fourth-place state finisher.
Jenison will host the CJ Crowe Invite tomorrow afternoon.
