SOFTBALL
The No. 5 ranked Jenison softball team shutout Grandville by a score of 8-0 on Thursday night. The Wildcats increase their win streak to seven games and their overall record to 18-4.
Alli Wright tossed a complete-game shutout, striking out 17 batters while only allowing four hits.
Kenadee Schnick led the offense with three hits, while Brynn Timmer added a multi-hit game. Emily DeWeerd drove in a pair of runs.
BASEBALL
The No. 12 ranked Jenison baseball team fell to Grand Haven by a score of 5-2 on Thursday. The Wildcats fall to 14-7 on the year.
Jackson Sytsma threw five innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs.
Case Hennip led the offense with two hits.
BOYS GOLF
The Wildcats were an action Thursday evening when they hosted the OK Red Jamboree at the Meadows Golf Cub at Grand Valley State University. Firing low rounds for Jenison were Lance DeKoster shooting 44 and Hayden Blik shooting 45.
