The Jenison girls tennis team won the Portage Central Tri on Saturday against Portage Central and Loy Norrix.

SOFTBALL
The Jenison softball team finished 3-0 at the South Lyon Tournament on Saturday. The Wildcats defeated St. Marys Prep, Huron, and South Lyon.
W, 9-1 vs. St. Marys
Alli Wright and Claire Merritt combined for 15 strikeouts in five innings while allowing just two hits and one run.
Mia VanderHeide and Emily DeWeerd each had two hits to lead the offense, while the team stole nine bases.
W, 7-2 vs. Huron
Brynn Timmer earned the victory, tossing five innings while allowing two runs and striking out four. Addi Herbig threw an inning of scoreless relief.
Kenadee Schnick, Liv Bisonet, and Claire Merritt each had two hits and Alli Wright drove in four runs.
W, 8-2 vs. South Lyon
Alli Wright threw a complete-game while striking out 13 batters in route to her second victory of the day.
Claire Merritt finished 3-for-3 at the plate and Emily DeWeerd recorded two runs and two RBI.
TRACK AND FIELD
The Jenison track and field teams competed at the GR Elite Challenge on Saturday. The boys finished fourth out of 26 teams while the girls finished eighth out of 22 teams.

The Jenison girls soccer team finished in a 2-2 tie against Northview on Saturday.
Natalie Keena scored both goals for the Wildcats.
