BASEBALL
The Jenison baseball team fell to Hudsonville by scores of 1-0 and 2-0 (9 innings) in a OK Red doubleheader on Tuesday. The Wildcats drop to 9-5 overall.
In game one, Hudsonville scored a run on a balk in the sixth inning for the lone run of the game.
Jackson Sytsma threw seven innings allowing just one run and three hits while striking out one.
Ben Slagter threw all nine innings in game two, allowing just two runs on seven hits while striking out seven. Hudsonville scored in the top of the ninth on a two-run single.
Ray Sherff had two hits to lead the offense in game two.
Jenison will travel to Hudsonville on Thursday for game three.
GIRLS WATER POLO
The Jenison girls water polo team fell to East Kentwood, 6-4, on Tuesday night. The Wildcats fall to 19-3 overall.
Hailey Sherman scored two goals, while Eden Huyser and Maddie Breuker eached scored one.
GIRLS SOCCER
The Jenison girls soccer team fell to Rockford by a score of 4-0 on Tuesday.
